My goal was to create an easy to use, CSS only, fast framework based on Material design. When I first saw Polymer, it was performance heavy, and everything was coded in an overkill fashion. So here, I'm showing Google that you can get the same result snappier, with just CSS. Of course, since this is only CSS, the ripple effect doesn't detect the cursor position, but that can be done with a few lines of JS, plus my CSS alternative looks very similar, and average users won't notice.

So here it is : github.com/nt1m/material-frame… (Warning, this is a work in progress, so the code can change very quickly).

[RE: G+ hangout) Yup I've been using Aurora since a week ago, I switched back to Firefox. Also my friend is using Aurora ("because I like the logo" compared to normal logo, and his Chrome freezes when it starts, IE blue screens when it starts). sorry about not replying Outlook.com reported I was online on G+ but I was doing something else

Looks great on Ubuntu. On older versions (Australis and before Australis) there was no circle under the back button, it was just 'plain' but it's finally made its way into Linux. BTW I found a (quite major) problem with the new sync, which was fixed just a few days before releasing FFX29. github.com/mozilla/fxa-content…

Yep ! Firefox previously used GTK on linux, and abandoned it for Australis. Some parts of GTK are still in Firefox 29 unfortunatly (new tab button).
Also, Bugzilla is a better place to fill bugs (you can also see my contributions here) :)
