I just love how the page I put up for Dashboard [link], before you did, has only 23 views and 0 comments, and you already have 107 views and 18 comments. Lol, that's why I am answering all the comments on this page. Oh well, the more people using Dashboard, the better.
Background change seems to work fine for me on IE 10 (on Win 8 Pro x64), at least in desktop mode.
I could really see this going places, perhaps even as a sort of desktop-replacement when in full screen. I hope you get more folks working on this (I doubt this would be something in my league in terms of coding)
Suggestions: - Fix Paint, its broken as far as I can tell - I'm not sure if this is a bug or simply a non-feature but I can't drag Apps around, which is a real downer. - Allow us to change the App background colors (not to be confused with the Dashboard Background/Wallpaper) and transparency level - Add an app that lets people create and remove shortcuts to files, folders, and URLs. Perhaps which the option to show only text or the icon? What would be even more cool is if you could create the shortcuts in minimizable "folders" on the Dashboard. e.g. Folder "Browsers" has Shortcuts "IE10," "Chrome," and "Firefox." - Would it be possible to make a downloadable version (preferably both online and offline friendly?)
- Paint works locally, but not on the website. So, we (ntim and I) will be replacing it with a different paint app. - IE doesn't support app dragging. Ntim is working on that. - What do you mean by app background colors? Do you mean the white color? - I don't get what you mean by an app that let's people create and remove shortcuts, and stuff. Can you explain it more? - I prefer not to make Dashboard offline, it means more hassle, and there are more limitations. No automatic updating, etc..

ntim has made a link app where you can save links to websites. Also, it saves automatically. I don't know about the app background colors, because the apps are iframed from a separate page...so.... yep. v3.0 will be out soon!
Yep, in Chrome the background change doesn't work (it does in IE 10), dragging works in Chrome but not IE 10. Otherwise everything seems to run smooth in Chrome. Everything that loads external webpages in IE10 appears to not work though.
